Type: Remote Internship
Duration: 3 months (Extendable)
Remuneration: INR 5000 per month
About Islamic Chronicles
Islamic Chronicles is a growing platform dedicated to retelling Islamic history through deep research and storytelling, reviving narratives erased, distorted, or forgotten. We focus on accurate Islamic history sources, maps, visual storytelling, and academic integrity.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct weekly research on selected historical topics and timelines.
- Help script YouTube video essays and blog posts.
- Assist with social media content planning (optional).
- Maintain source lists and citations.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions for monthly newsletters or video content.
- Deliver 1–2 well-researched briefs per week.
Eligibility
- Must be passionate about Islamic history and culture.
- Strong research and reading skills.
- Background in Islamic Studies, History, Middle Eastern Studies, or similar preferred (but not mandatory).
- Ability to read or reference classical Islamic historians (Ibn Khaldun, Tabari, etc.) is a bonus.
- Proficiency in English writing is a must.
- Only students and fresh graduates can apply.
Terms & Conditions
- Workload: ~6-8 hours/week.
- Stipend: INR 5000/month, paid at the end of each month.
- Remote: Work from anywhere.
- Confidentiality: Interns must not republish or reuse research material without written permission.
- Originality: Plagiarism will result in immediate termination of the internship.
- Attribution: Contributions will be credited wherever published unless otherwise discussed.
