(15 June) The Battle of Kosovo was fought between the Ottomans and Serbians in Kosovo. Both Ottomans and Serbians suffered heavy casualties including the death of Ottoman Sultan Murad I and the Serbian leader Prince Lazar. After a bloody battle, the Ottomans finally secured the victory.
