20 June 1481	Battles & Sieges	(20 June) The two sons of Sultan Mehmed Fatih, Bayezid II and Sultan Cem, fought against each other at Yenişehir, Bursa in order to claim the throne. Bayezid II defeated his brother and became the 8th Sultan of the Ottoman Empire.
