7 November 1862	Deaths	(7 November) The last Mughal emperor Bahadur Shah Zafar died in exile in Rangoon, British Burma (present-day Myanmar). During the Indian Uprising of 1857, Bahadur Shah fought against the British. But Indians were defeated and Bahadur Shah was also captured by the British and sent into exile.
